Choosing a Neighborhood

Start with how your group likes to spend a day.

Want the boardwalk every night? The North End homes and Catherine's Cottage are a couple of minutes on foot from it. Ocean Dunes and Ocean Panorama put you on the sand itself. The South End is quieter, and the Central Avenue duplex there sleeps up to 24.

A few questions settle it fast:

How far do you want to walk to the beach, and to the boardwalk?
Who's coming: young kids, grandparents, several families?
Do you want to be in the middle of things, or a little apart from them?

Four Parts of Town

The Boardwalk Area

For families who want the beach, the rides and the food all on foot.

Catherine's Cottage is on 13th Street between Central and Wesley, a block and a half from the beach and the boardwalk. Johnson's Popcorn, Manco & Manco and The Fractured Prune are a short walk.

The North End

Beach-block homes a couple of minutes from the sand.

Our 836 2nd Street and 412 Corinthian Avenue buildings are both here, each a couple of minutes on foot from the beach and the boardwalk. Brown's warm doughnuts, Ove's and the Wednesday farmers market are close by.

The South End

Quiet residential streets, and room for a big group.

The 3716-18 Central Avenue duplex is here: Chic Beach Retreat, Sunrise, Sunset, or both together as Summertime, and the Livin' is Easy, which sleeps 24. The 37th Street beach is about two minutes away on foot.

The Gold Coast

Beachfront, between 15th and 34th Streets.

Our Wesley Avenue duplex sits right on the beach. Ocean Dunes is the first floor and has the private beach use, Ocean Panorama is the second floor with ocean views and an elevator, and Toes in the Sand is both floors together.
